“Poetry is not only dream and vision; it is the skeleton architecture of our lives. It lays the foundations for a future of change, a bridge across our fears of what has never been before.” —Audre Lorde

This summer, invite poetry into your life. If you already write poetry, come learn more about craft—image, metaphor, sonics, musicality, rhetorical strategies—and experiment with new strategies. If you’re new to this genre or just want to be a better reader, this class helps you discover poetry in ways you didn’t know were possible. We support you where you are and get you to where you want to be. All levels welcome, and sessions are geared to the interest and experience level of participants.
