Teen Writing Group (ages 14-18)
Thursdays, Jan. 11 to Feb. 15
5:30 to 7 p.m.
teen lead, moderated by Lisa Hartsgrove

This group is designed for teens writing novels, poetry collections, memoir, nonfiction, short story collections, or other projects, and for those about to start one. The projects may be in any stage of completion, from a handful of scenes and ideas to near-publication. We meet in a workshop setting to give and receive constructive feedback, advice, and encouragement to help each other move forward with our projects. This is a supportive environment, where everyone is ready to learn and grow from our shared missteps and triumphs in writing. Find inspirational writing prompts, new friends, feedback, food, and refreshments as you join our community of teenage writers who are not afraid to accomplish their dreams. Through plot twists, cliffhangers, and verse, we move closer to finishing, editing, and (hopefully) publishing our works.
