Self-improvement has traditionally been based on the idea that we need to overcome our weaknesses to be successful. That we’re imperfect and need to be fixed. But what if we have everything we need right now–that the key to increasing well-being is paying attention to and cultivating our strengths? That’s just what recent groundbreaking research in positive psychology shows. By reflecting on our strengths, we will become more resilient and find more meaning in our lives. In this workshop, you identify your signature strengths and write stories and reflective essays to explore how you use strengths in your lives and how you can apply them now and in the future. No prerequisites or writing experience necessary—just an openness and willingness to share with the group. This course is ideal for people in transition at any age.
