Writing Process & Tools: Let’s Talk About the Gadgets and Gizmos that Help Us Write
Wednesday, February 6, 2019
7 to 8:30 p.m.
West Side Eatery, 2 Bridge Ave, Red Bank
with PWN staff members

What helps you bang out the pages? Put your butt in the chair? In this workshop, we discuss some of the tools (software, gadgets, tricks) that writers use to boost their productivity. On the agenda is an overview of popular word-processing programs including Scrivener, Microsoft Word, and Google Drive. Other topics include:

  • Productivity tools such as ambient noise generators and writing schedule calculators
  • Editing tools such as Grammarly or Hemingway Editor
  • Other activities that help encourage writing

Attendees walk away with an overview of useful tools but are also encouraged to share their writing tips and advice with their fellow writers. This workshop is available free of charge, but we are asking for a $25 donation to support Project Write Now’s community outreach programs.
