“Blue,” a collaborative poem by Shore House writers

Just Blue:

Blue once was the color of the ocean.
Blue once was heavenly.
Blue once was a color I knew when
Everything was blue.
Blue once was a song.
Blue once was the song my soul sadly sang.
Blue once was vulnerable.

Shades of Blue:

Blue is water, life.
Blue is loving my lessons.
Blue is of the sky,
All for you and I.
Blue is dark and light, the color of night.
Blue is sadness.
Blue is the color of my daughter’s eyes.
Blue is heavenly.

Potential Blue Hue:

Blue can be the best.
Blue can be together.
Blue can be a color that I want.
Blue can be also soft, as in powder blue.
Blue can be spirit lifting.
Blue can be a swimming pool.
Blue can be a symphony.
