Ashley Talerico
Biography
Way back when Project Write Now first started working with Red Bank Middle School, Ashley Talerico was an eighth grader. Ashley’s AVID class was the first class PWN worked with. (How lucky was she?!) Ashley then graduated from Red Bank Regional in 2019, went to Monmouth University and got her bachelor’s degree in social work in 2023, then went on to get her master’s degree in 2025. While achieving her master’s degree, Ashley came back to the middle school to intern as a social worker. She continues to use what she learns from Project Write Now to teach her students about the benefits of journaling and writing in general.
