Katie Morgan

Biography

Katie Morgan is a teacher and a lifelong avid reader and writer. Katie’s degree in English and focus on multicultural literature was only the beginning of a deeper relationship with writing. As a trauma-informed yoga instructor, and someone who has encountered multiple significant losses, Katie finds that meditative writing has helped to transmute her experiences and allowed her to restore deep meaning following grief. Today, Katie devotes her attention to program, curriculum and content creation for her company, The Grief Ritual, where she supports post-traumatic growth following loss. She also is a bereavement group facilitator at Stephy’s Place in Red Bank and is enrolled at The College of William & Mary in the online Clinical Mental Health Master’s degree program.
