Discover your voice and make meaningful friendships! Our Teen Summer Workshops (for 11-14 year olds) and Teen Summer Intensives (for 15-18 year olds) provide students with an intensive, enriching writing experience that not only fosters open creative expression but also builds confidence and strengthens communication skills in a safe, supportive environment.
No writing experience is necessary. We would love for you to join us, whether you’ve been writing for years or just want to be part of a unique creative process. Classes are small (12 students max), and instruction is tailored to the students enrolled.
Whether you wish to get your stories down on paper or publish in your favorite literary journal, we are here to guide, encourage, and support you through the virtual platforms: Zoom and/or Wet Ink.*
*Zoom Classes – These classes are similar to our “live” studio classes. There is a set date and time (usually two hours) when we meet via Zoom video conferencing.
Wet Ink – These classes are held online and include written communication. There is a set weekly date and time when lessons are “dropped,” but you participate according to your own availability and/or the instructor’s schedule throughout the week.
You will receive detailed instructions from your instructor on how to use your designated platform prior to class starting. We are also available for private tutorials.
