Description
(Ages 14-18)
This teen-led group is designed for teens writing or wanting to start novels, poetry collections, memoir, nonfiction, short story collections, or other projects. (The projects may be in any stage of completion—from ideas to a handful of scenes to near-publication.) We write to the prompt(s) provided by the teen leaders and give and receive constructive feedback. This is a supportive environment where everyone is willing to learn and grow from our shared missteps and triumphs. Find inspirational prompts, friendships, and feedback as you join our community of teen writers who are not afraid to accomplish their dreams. Through plot twists, cliffhangers, and verse, we move closer to finishing, editing, and (hopefully) publishing our works.
We offer financial assistance through our scholarship program. Download an application here.
