September Community Outreach
This is a poem written by the members of Shore House during a Project Write Now workshop.
Today
Today has been filled with
joy & relaxation.
It has seen great friendships
and heard great music.
To my heart this feels awesome,
but also like I am longing for substance.
Today has been filled with
sleep & fun.
There has been a joy of cooking
and laughter with friends.
To my heart this feels like self love
and like this has been great.
Today has been full of
glee and boredom,
happiness and apprehension,
peace and excitement.
To my heart this feels strange,
like so much is going on in my brain,
but also happy, curious,
and like connectedness and love.
Today was filled with
great pleasure.
I feel great today
with the Shore House group.
I want to have a great year.
