We wanted a name that better captures what this newsletter actually is—not just updates from PWN, but a space to think about writing itself, why it matters, and how it shapes us. Substack also gives us better tools for that conversation: comments, archives, an app for reading on the go, and a true community space for writers to connect. So PWN Writers News is becoming The Imprint, and you’ll find us on Substack from now on.

PWN Writers is the classes and community programming arm of Project Write Now, a nonprofit writing organization based in Red Bank, NJ. We offer classes, workshops, and events for writers at every stage—from beginners finding their voice to working writers honing their craft—covering memoir, fiction, poetry, and more. Beyond the classroom, PWN Writers builds community through live storytelling events, instructor-led programming, and a network of writers who show up for one another's work.
