Join us for a live virtual table read of Unrest, a social thriller about a woman with traumatic memory loss who struggles to remember her past, which includes a shocking revelation that could destroy her marriage and prove fatal.
The purpose of these table reads is to provide screenwriters with the exciting opportunity to workshop their scripts live with professional actors and audience members. We hold a discussion post reading with both the screenwriter and the actors with opportunities to ask questions.
In a futuristic world where women hold the majority of political power and men use violence in an attempt to regain their place, a trusting wife and her seemingly-devoted husband retreat to a secluded coastal town where she can recover from a traumatic brain injury. However, the wife’s mental state quickly unravels as she suspects her husband is not only keeping her trapped, but he is also hiding the truth about her accident and his role in the civil unrest outside their home.
