Whether you wish to get your stories down on paper or publish in your favorite literary journal, we are here to guide, encourage, and support you through the virtual platforms: Zoom and/or Wet Ink.*
There are thousands of good reasons to practice writing, one of which is to discover (or rediscover) your voice and the perspective that is unique to you.
Join us online and write the stories only you can tell.
*Zoom Classes – These classes are similar to our “live” studio classes. There is a set date and time (usually two hours) when we meet via Zoom video conferencing.
Wet Ink – These classes are held online and include written communication. There is a set weekly date and time when lessons are “dropped,” but you participate according to your own availability and/or the instructor’s schedule throughout the week.
You will receive detailed instructions from your instructor on how to use your designated platform prior to class starting. We are also available for private tutorials.
In order to help you select the right class, we have tiered them levels 1 through 3. These levels reflect the type of experience you will have in the class, not the difficulty of the class or expertise of the instructor. No matter where you are in your writing practice, you are welcome to join or apply for any level.
Level 1: This is a prompt-based class designed to generate new writing with no or minimal outside assignments.
Level 2: This class includes mentor text analysis and workshopping. Depending on the instructor, there may be outside assignments.
Level 3: This class focuses on workshopping with a commitment to present polished work. It also includes mentor text analysis and weekly outside assignments.
